I have to have UTK heating pads on a daily basis because I suffer from excruciating pain.lt takes a few minutes to warm up, but it stays warm for sooooo long. You get to set the timer and the heat. I love the heat level too because it's an actual temperature number vs low, medium, high. You definitely are paying for the quality, and quality you will get. I would recommend this UTK infrared heating pad to anyone that needs a heating pad often. I'd tell you to bite the bullet and get it. You won't regret it!
I love this UTK infrared heating pad. I have had trouble with this model in the past so I taped up the plug that goes into the mat because the others have pulled out with wires showing previously. But I cannot do without it and have resolved it by taping with electrical tape. They have been kind and asked for my advice so I am hoping they resolve the issue because it is so much better than the previous bulky plug-in unit and it is also EMF free which the older type is not. Nice company. I recommend.
I have two blown discs in my back and I am always in some kind of pain because of it. The current issue is that my sciatic nerve is being pinched and my left leg is in constant pain. I went to a place that specializes in back pain and there are three ways to pull me from the waist down with a weighted contraption, then use infrared heat to stimulate blood flow, then have me exercise my interior muscles through my neck. The program was $9300 for three months and insurance didn’t cover it I borrowed an inverter from my friend to duplicate the pulling apart of my vertebrae, this belt to stimulate the blood flow in my disks and I just lay on the floor to do the neck exercise my own way. I have been doing it for one minute every morning and every night for two weeks and have been able to stop all pain pills and most muscle relaxers. This belt has been a huge part of it. I sometimes just use it while I’m watching a movie on other parts of my body as well. It has different settings so it can get really hot, but also low settings where you don’t really feel the heat but you still know it’s working. Because of the shape, it’s completely versatile. I can wrap it around my leg, my waist, I even put it on my shoulders and lean back on it. Love this belt and am thankful I bought it.

I have some pretty severe (lower) back pain and this heating pad has been a real game-changer. It might not get scorchingly hot but this heat is different. I could tell that it penetrated the first time that I used it.
If you aren't familiar with infrared heat, just do an internet search--its benefits are pretty incredible for healing the tissues (not just masking or "temporary relief" from the pain). This UTK heating pad is pretty incredible and very reasonably priced in this category. Highly recommend.

UTK far infrared heating pad is a great product to use to relieve back muscle pain or anywhere else for that matter. we've had the full-length pad for 5 years so decided to also order this heating pad.

Excellent. I have a lower back problem and out of many products I've bought to help support the lower back, this product excels them all. I've benefited the most from this UTK heating mat. Easy to use, works great. What's more amazing is that it helped with my insomnia. I fall asleep quickly sleeping on this heated mat. Highly recommend.
I have been extremely happy with this UTK infrared heating pad. It is the kind of heating pad that you would get at a professional therapy or spa session. I had previously purchased the larger pad and loved it. Meanwhile, I was amazed at their quick response! This gave us the confidence to purchase the smaller pad for office and travel. This is a much heavier duty and precise heating pad than what you will find at a drugstore or retail store, plus it is a completely different heat therapy experience.
This utk heating pad is great. The penetrating heat is far superior to regular heating pads and has no danger of hot spots. I use a pillowcase over it when using and that works very well. A "must buy" for people needing heat therapy.
